If you happened to be one of the 30,000 people that contacted me in the days between my due date and the time when my daughter was born, you found out quite quickly that 1) Yes, I was still pregnant, and 2) I didnt want to talk to you.
For this I take full responsibility for any hurt feelings but I will not however, ever, apologize for it.
Reason being that should the people who (I understand, ever so lovingly) wanted to contact me play over in their mind the things they wished to speak to me about during that time, and then take those questions
AND MULTIPLY THEM BY A MILLION
you might be able to understand why I didnt want to spend the last days on my pregnancy re-re-re-re and re-explaining to everyone who called, and emailed, and texted, that my baby and were just fine
and NO. The baby is not going to explode inside me if we dont get it out RIGHT NOW!
I was not the first women to go past my due date, nor was I the first women to go as far past my due date as I did.
Logic will tell you (if not this blog itself) that if I was taking the natural approach, a different approach, to my pregnancy and birth; that the arrival of my baby would also play out in this fashion.
The point being, my baby came just as my body and the Lord intended.
And this is how I will continue our story -
