I had a list of things I needed to get done before I could have my baby (my mom said that "you cant schedule nesting" but clearly she underestimated my neuroticism) and I've gotten almost all of the idems checked off (to the vain of Tuna and my husband alike).
Today however, I did whatever the crap I wanted (and yes it did get one more project off my list too).
We slept in, I had cereal for breakfast (if you were 10mo preggo and this was the only food you wanted all day every day, then you could understand the joy it brought me), we went for a walk - something that has been a part of our "Get The Baby Out" campain since the beginning of the month (I wasnt too keen on doing anything to disturb my young one before the turn of the month becasue I wanted my baby in September, but here it is and now all's fair in war and childbirth), and lastly, I did sewing projects ALL DAY. Minus the walk we did this morning, I have been at my sewing machine for the better part of 8 hours and it was great! I got two Christmas presents done and had a wonderful time just being creative. It was so rewarding to not have to start a project and then leave it for a few days, forget what the crap I was doing, and then come back to it in a rushed state to hurry up and get it done.
I have had a more active desire to meet my babe face to face since getting off of work, but will certainly enjoy whatever time my baby and God give me before "D Day" - its all up to the two of them now...
I'm glad you were able to have a day to yourself to do whatever the crap (lol!) you wanted, that's always a good thing! ;) I can only imagine that you're very anxious for your cutie pie to hurry up and get here. You sound like you are doing well and (hopefully) not too uncomfortable, I'm glad for you! I've been thinking about you guys, awaiting to hear news of your baby....like I said, if you ever need anything, let me know!

I'm just glad you still say "whatever the crap." Keep up your get the baby out campaign though, I'm dying to know if you've got a girl or boy.
