Well, as far as the baby goes, everything is great. Everything else was everything else.
We moved this last month. I was pregs last time we moved too... but this time I had a whole house to set up. My father in law said he was impressed with my moving skills. I did my share of unloading the boxes and even taking ones up stairs that my husband claimed were packed too full by yours truly... Did I mention the fact that he worked like 70+ hours the week before we moved...
But back to the child - With moving and all, at my last midwife appointment I told one of them that I would sometimes forget about her. We commented on how nice it is that they are just tucked in there, taking care of themselves for the most part. I am planning on her staying in there a while (as she is proving to be more like her sister everyday) but she might surprise every one - her mama most of all. Over the past month though, she has been making her lil self known. At 5 o clock in the morning, at 11 at night.... I told my sister the other day that I think shes getting frustrated in there. So we'll see.
And then there's a bit of news on the name front - It's still Ingrid - that will not change. But back when we found out she was she and I told M that her name was Ingrid, he wasnt fully on board. He had said that it wasnt that he did not like the name Ingrid, but that no middle name would go with it. I therefore gave hin the opportunity to choose the middle name. He then proceeded for the next two weeks to come up with names that could have Ingrid as a middle name. Mama wasnt budging on this one.
So as the weeks went by, I told M that his time was running short and that I would again retain the naming rights after said amount of time. (at this point he, I guess, had conceded to the first name but was pushing hard for Maja as the middle name - a name that got thrown out when we named Mara - you cant have a Mara and a Maja in the same house.... he insisted we could still use it) And so things went for a few months.
That is until about a week ago when I told M his time was up. He was still on 'Maja'. I then told him that her name was Ingrid Laurel Eaton.

Hey, you are alive! I thought for sure the move had killed you. ;-) Glad to hear everything is going perfectly smoothly with number two and I completely love your name. It's beautiful. :-) Talked with Chels today and sounds like your new house is perfect and I'm glad that Mara adjusted well to moving. I've always wondered about how that would go with our monkeys if/ when we ever move again. Anyways.... glad to see you back in blog land. :-)
