Ignorance is... well, helpful

I am just a few days into my second trimester, and although my 'reverse morning sickness' (as a lovely friend who was similarly afflicted coined it)isn't totally gone, progress has been made.
As far as sickness goes, this pregnancy started out similar to Mara. I didn't get sick right away, but when I was about 7 weeks in, all manner of illness came raining down. I was so tired I couldn't even fight to stay awake for more than two hours, I could eat nothing yet some how would have been able to retrieve gum I swallowed in the second grade by mearly leaning over. (I did not accually throw up, but only by the grace of God)
So this whole time I thought to myself- 'I do not remember it being this bad!' and came to the conclution that I needed to suck it up and get on with life because for as much as I would have loved it, MaraMum was not Bout to just lay in bed with me all day - or for more than 10 seconds (an improvement from3 seconds when she was younger, but wasn't going to cut it)
Needless to say it was a hard 3-4 days but I when I started coming out of the woods with the whole thing, I turn around just in time to have Mara puke on me. Yeah, we had the Stomack flu.
Had I known that I was contagious and not just dealing with the newly conceived, I would have paid some one to take the girls (being Mara and my niece, whom I also infected) into the hills, but thank the Lord we are all weeks past recovery.
And it was nice on one hand to learn that I was not a whimp this time around and that I was carrying a virus... And not some mutain child...
