It's in there

We heard our baby today. My thought is that there may come a time in which the sounds our child makes aren't as beautiful to our ears (say between the ages of speech development and our deaths) but today it was great!
If you've been following along you know of my frustration with not hearing the kid the TWO other times we tried for the heart beat, but apparently our child is already playing favorites because this was the first time it's father was in the room while we gave it a shot. And it cooperated right away too (lil goober) because my midwife didnt have to fish the cold lil goopy probe around for more than a second to find it - unlike the last two times when I was practically hanging off the table and they were damn near shoving the "doppler" though my belly button hole to the point that I though I'd be able to SEE the stubborn thing if they stabbed a lil farther before we could get a good reading.
I cant feel it move yet, so this is the best proof I've got (not that the gut spinning for three months or the fainting couldnt have been viable) that it's in there.

and- FYI, according to my midwives, I am not having a litter as some have assumed, and that I am "the textbook definition of prefect progression" in my 'development' :-p so na na na na
