Takes after it's father

So I had may second prenatal visit today and aside from being completely useless otherwise (apparently my veins arent "stickey outy" -the technical term one of my midwives used- so I have the joy of being referred out to get blood work done)

*Side Bar- I am currently in search a a huge Somalian man who, at least in July 2006, worked at the Kaiser in Vancouver off of Mill Plain - that seems to be the only human being that can cox out my veins and therefore blood*

Aside from the above, I have come to the conclusion that our child is doomed to be as stubborn as its paternal chromosome donor.

I say this because the moment I had been waiting for for WEEKS now, hearing the heart beat, was squashed due to his child not wanting to be heard just yet.
If the child was taking after your humble narrator, there would have been no problem, as it's mother (as can be seen from the pages below) has no issues about being heard.

I scheduled a drive-by in two weeks with them, not to do a whole appointment, but just to see if the lil bugger is willing to make itself known yet. And if it has any more wits about it then it's father, it will learn right quick that giving me what I want just makes the ride a bit smoother :)

  1. Yes. Threaten the child, that will make him/her want to cooperate... And, "humble" narrator?
