They start this soon?

Cravings.
I was talking to a friend at work who had her daughter about 10 months ago and she asked if I had had any cravings yet. At that point I hadnt, but asked what hers had been like. She said that with her last pregnancy she craved a lot of meat, every meal, all the time. She said that she figured her body was telling her what she needed and so she followed her cravings.
Well, I can now say I have had a craving (where this is all I wanted to eat and every other option just would not do) and I have come to the conclusion that my body is quite mad and I dont believe that I will be able to "follow" my cravings.
I say this because last night I laid in bed ready to sell my dog for a big ass bowl of Kraft Mac&Cheese with hot dogs cut up into it.
My body has betrayed me.

I will have you know that I was not able to satisfy my desire, as we do not keep those items in the house, but now I know that I can not keep those items in the house...

  1. You could always go with a nice whole grain pasta replacement? But hotdogs... Yea you might want to avoid those whether you're pregnant or not.

  2. Wow, that is serious cause I know how much you love your dog!!! I'm glad you don't eat that crap anyway. It was YOU who got me to change from Kraft Mac & Cheese to Velveeta!! Anyway, when I was prego with you my dear, my first craving was strawberries and cornflakes in the middle of the night......

  3. Nathan's brand hot dogs are pretty good - they're certified kosher. You could definitely do homemade man & cheese with good pasta and quality cheese. Here's a link to homemade baked organic mac & cheese: http://www.culinary.net/recipes/pastapizza/4206-homemadeorganicbakedmacandcheese.html
